The RAS Foundation (RASF) was established in 2007 to help build strong, sustainable and resilient rural and regional communities in NSW.
Purpose of the RASF Rural Scholarship: To support students who are passionate and committed to forging careers that will contribute to the future success of rural and regional NSW including the ACT.
Value: Up to $7,000 for full-time study or $3,500 for part-time study.
Who can apply?
- Applicants of any age are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be applying for, or holding admission to, a course with relevance to rural and regional NSW including the ACT.
- Applicants must be studying at a registered higher education provider. This can be a university, TAFE or college.
- Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Selection priorities based on:
- Financial need.
- Desire to actively contribute in rural and regional NSW including the ACT.
- Demonstrated interest in rural issues and involvement in the local community.
Applications open: Monday 1 July 2024
Application close: Sunday 22 September 2024
Scholarship Funds: Awarded in three instalments commencing in April 2025 for use in the 2025 academic year.
