The RAS Foundation helps to support the development of sustainable and resilient regional and rural communities in NSW and the ACT by promoting individual and community growth via educational scholarships and community grants. One such scholarship program is the RAS Foundation Master of Teaching for Ag Graduates Scholarship.
Purpose: To encourage graduates of an agriculture related discipline* to pursue a career in teaching agriculture. The scholarship program aims to contribute to the development of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce, enhance educational opportunities and foster agricultural sustainability in rural and regional NSW.
Value: The Scholarship provides $10,000 in financial support, mentorship and practical placement opportunities.
Eligibility Guidelines:
- Applicants must have already completed a degree in an agriculture related discipline such as: Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Business Management, Rural Science, Agricultural Production, Environmental Science.
- Applicants must have a desire to embark on a career teaching agriculture.
- Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Selection will be based on:
- A demonstrated passion for agriculture.
- Desire to pursue a career teaching agriculture.
