RAS Foundation VET Scholarships 2019

The Royal Agricultural Society (NSW) Foundation (RASF) helps to build strong, vibrant rural communities through education and skills development.

Purpose: To encourage students who are passionate and committed to forging careers that will contribute to the future success of rural and regional NSW.

Value: $6,000 for full-time study or $3,000 for part-time study.

 Our selection process is based on:

  • Demonstrated interest in rural issues and involvement in the local community
  • Desire to actively contribute in rural and regional NSW
  • Financial need
  • Academic merit or demonstrated employment history for applicants who have not recently engaged in study
  • Ability to participate in activities that promote the RASF and/or RASNSW

Applications open: Monday 5 November 2018

Application close: Sunday 10 February 2019

Award Announced: End February 2019

Scholarship Funds Awarded: March 2019 for use in the 2019 academic year

Eligibility Guidelines:

  • Open to applicants of any ages currently admitted to, or applying for admission to, an accredited course with relevance to rural NSW at a TAFE college or registered training provider.
  • Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Note: This scholarship is not available for:
    • High school students studying VET subjects
    • University students
